I got a call today from Joe Miller. Well, it wasnt from him, it was from his personal assistant. Joe doesnt have time to make his own phone calls anymore. His personal assistant, whose name happens to be Humphrey, was calling to let me know that Joe would be coming down to watch the KSU vs Auburn game with me tomorrow night. He was calling to make sure I had everything on Joes rider since I would be hosting him while he watched the game. Its pretty basic. Single malt scotch, some Dogfish Head IPA, a vegetable and cheese tray, a prime rib dinner, a large pizza, a new Gibson Bass guitar, and 29 packs of Menthol Cigarettes. I am pretty much cool with everything except for the petting zoo that I have to have in the front yard when Joe arrives. That and the ticker tape parade he is requiring on our street is going to be hard to pull off with only 1 days notice. I asked Humphrey if I could speak to Joe about the parade and the petting zoo, but apparently Joe was busy with his life coach before he goes in for an acupuncture session. After that I guess hes got an appointment with his Yoga Instructor, and then hes getting his blood cleaned. All in all, Im just happy Im going to be able to hang out with my old friend. The last time he was here his body guards let me talk to him twice. Anyway, GO WILDCATS.
