I got an email from one of McKenzies classmates mom telling me that she got peanut-free cupcakes for the whole class from Nutphree Bakery in Mount Prospect for her sons birthday treat he is bringing to school. I cant say enough about how unbelievably considerate all of these parents have been in regards to Micks allergy. There are three other peanut/nut allergy kids and one dairy/egg allergy boy in her class. Everyone really is looking out for the kids safety. The mom is also getting special dairy/egg free doughnuts for the other boy. The small class size and the parents really have calmed my anxieties a lot.
