I got the number 11, so here it goes... 1. My loyalty to my kids, my honey, and immediate family is number 1. I have been blessed with the best damn family a man can ask for and would not hesitate to die for any of them, nor go to prison protecting them. 2. I am above and beyond convinced that God exists. That being said; the path on which to cultivate a relationship with him is still a mystery to me. 3. The loss of my hunting buddy my Grandpa Dee and my fishing buddy my Grandma Orgae has affected me more than I let on. If there was one answered prayer I would ever be granted, it would be to tell them how right they were in so many things, how ignorant I was, and to take one more trip hunting and fishing with them both. 4. I am a very good cook and was taught by the best, my mother. However, I still dont understand when I offer to help, my Moms idea of helping her is get the hell out my kitchen. 5. I havent been back home to Lawrenceburg since 2001. I left there with a lot of bitterness. Looking back, we all were little shits to each other in one way or another in school. We were little fish transitioning from the fishbowl to the ocean called life. At some point next year in 2014, I plan to come back and visit and hopefully set some things right with some people I treasure more than I express. 6. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve and always have. 7. I personally do not give a shit about the whole Ohio State/Michigan rivalry. Seriously, of all the issues we have going on in America, who the hell wins one game isnt on the top of my I care list. 8. I spend a lot of time writing and penning poetry. My favorite authors in no specific order are Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Oscar Wilde, Hunter S. Thompson, Sylvia Plath, Clive Barker, and so many more I couldnt possibly list them all. 9. After watching my best friend Scott die from oral cancer, I am an ardent supporter of medical marijuana for combating this disease. 10. If I had a choice of any profession it would be either a hell raising journalist in the mold of HST working with Ben Swann in waking up the sheep or giving the bastard wolves hell or a MLB centerfielder for the Cincinnati Reds or Washington Nationals. 11. Experience and money to lawyers has showed me the greatest gift that any divorced parents can give their kids is to make peace with each other and put the children first. For all the bellyaching parents do and using the kids as puppets, there was a time you both thought the other worthy enough to conceive a child with. Unless your spouse was a physically abusive shit, do the right thing and focus on the kids instead of your own egos.
