I got to the 11km mark in 2 hours in the City2South fun run in Brisbane which was my aim, after this the hills were way too steep for me and I was too buggered. Had a few non starters in my team, actually I was the only one to run but luckily I had Merna driving the support vehicle ready to pick me up at the 11k mark as agreed - after waiting a while I rang to discover she had found some markets at Boggo Road & got side tracked on the way, but she did arrive shortly after and wondered if I would like to wheel around the markets on the way home - bloody tough coach... thanks Merna you did a great job. Got a push up a hill from a couple (Steven Roberts & girlfriend) & wheeled along with them chatting & found out they were from Cunnamulla and I knew his parents. Amazing to have 7000 people running & find someone you know!!
