I got up this morning after 4 hours of sleep and now it is 3:20 a.m. ! Just getting sleepy. Got to get up early as we are meeting Tim & Heather up in Oklahoma at Winstar resort casino for the weekend. That is the largest casino I have ever seen. Better Vegas fircdure. So much fun! than We will leave a dallas at noon Sunday and go down to Austin to stay Sunday night and spend time visiting my son and family. Monday off to Corpus and hope finally until I have to return here in Plano for continuous evaluation of my spine and neck. I am so lucky the have the best spinal surgeon in the world. People fly from all over the world to see him and he travels to other countries to do the same surgery on the needy. Michael Obrien and another doctor run this office Baylor Regional Medical Center as well as a big center in Ft. LAUDERDALE, Fla. It is the Baylor Southwest Scoliosis Institute. Amazing doctors changing peoples lives for the better ! I am so lucky that he took my case in 4 days after seeing my mri. I had lost 2 1/2 inches in height because of my fall injuries to my neck and spine. So I was at 5 ft. 3 in just before my surgery. I and now atleast back to 5 ft 5 1/2 inches thanks to all the bone graphs out of my hips and other graft materials. I can stand up staight ! We take that for granted. Pain will be apart of my life for months to come with winter coming on but my surgeon made sure I get the pain meds I need.
