I gotta admit I giggled at what this kid did, purely out of being absolutely shocked. However, he is in the wrong. Freedom of speech is one thing but there are censorship laws that he clearly broke. Im sure WAND TV could have prevented this by having a timing delay, but they didnt. This guy has been all over FB bragging, with his friends cheering him on all along. How cool is he now that he is facing legit legal charges? Not very. I bet his parents are proud. NOT. I was born in Decatur, where most of my family lives, then moved to Long Creek when I was little and attended Mt. Zion schools from Kindergarten and on. I was never one of those people who said Decatur people are idiots or its the only place where people act like this. It kills me when people from Blue Mound, Cerro Gordo, Macon, Oakley or WHEREVER say Oh but its Decatur so I am not surprised. Yep its Decatur. Its also imy hometown. Quite frankly anyone who thinks every town doesnt have their own fair share of problems is ignorant. (You all know you go into Decatur for sports events, grocery shopping, going to the movies, drinking at the bars, Decatur celebration, going out to eat, etc. If you are supporting the community with your money why bash it with your words?) Well this boy lives in Forsyth where I recall they hold a festival that people from other surrounding areas are not (or at least at one point in time were not) welcomed. Us Decatur people let someone from Forsyth in and this classless crap happens? I hope this kid gains some morals and learns a lesson in growing up. I dont wish a felony or anything upon him because he is young and dumb, but I sure think he deserves some sort of punishment. Just my two cents. Which isnt worth all that much lol
