I gottta say....... Brotha Lynch Hung is someone i got major respect for........I discovered his music when I was in about grade 10...... I was in Haney Place Mall in Maple Ridge and while in the dollar store I found a little section of cds and cassettes that I have no clue how they ended up being sold in a dollar store cause there was a Too Short tape I bought as well as some rare rap..... One of the rare rap tapes I bought was Lynchs classic Masterpiece Season Of Da Siccness....... I had no clue who he was but i loved the cover and the track titles....... It took a few months of occasional listens before It grew on me to the point that I was fascinated with Brotha Lynch Hung and couldnt get enough of his music (which by the way was way harder to come by then than it is now that he is on STRANGE MUSIC INC.......... I remember i would tell people about him at school and no one knew who he was........ 2 years later people at my school caught on and everyone that was into the underground gangsta rap of the 90s loved him........ Even though me and Lynch are very different people I could sense he suffered from depression and had that darkness in him that i can relate to as well to a level........ He bacame my main Teen Angst artist for my high school years and I been a fan ever since...... This song below even tho it isnt from Season Of Da Siccness just reminded me of my introduction to Brotha Lynch Hung.
