I grew up under his dictatorial regime, was terrified of Martial Law, trembled under Metrocom and grew up more or less like the Cultural Revolution of MaoTseTung but much milder. Ive been thinking with all the presidents that came after him, who would have equaled or surpassed him, in intellect and governance ? Is it PP Cory ? - intellect ? governance ? - initial euphoria or Is it PP Ramos ? - intellect ? governance ? - perhaps or Is it PP Erap ? - intellect ? governance ? - its quite a letdown or Is it PP GMA ? - intellect ? governance ? - shouldnt have took that 2nd term. Cant we be even proud of only one of them ? If a foreigner asked of us, what will we say? Nuthin ? Huh ?
