I grew up without a Daddy so I missed a lot of things. My brother Jim made a tomboy out of me and taught me a lot of the things I was missing. When I met Chris, I was 16. 16 year old girls need a fathers input. Gene didnt adopt me, I adopted him! For 35 years, (like it or not), he advised me when I needed guidance, scolded me when I sassed, and soothed me when I was hurting. I wont lie or sugar coat it, we argued at times, boy did we! But I still loved him and always will. He has made an impact on my life and I think Im a better person for having known him. Thank you God for the years we had with him. Gone, but never forgotten.
