I guess I am caught up in my own problems and not seeing the wood for the trees. However, today I received an email from a friend saying that he and his family had been mugged in the Ukraine and whilst the British Embassy was very helpful, the hotel still wanted their bill paid. I immediately emailed back offering help but told him I was out of Gibraltar but would see what I could do. He asked that I send £1950 by Western Union to him and gave me the details. Knew I could not get to a W.U so tried on line... fortunatley I was with someone who said to me but Ellie surely he could ring his bank up and they will get the money to him. Yep, your right, I nearly got caught... but thats me, with so much crap around me, not thinking clearly... fortunately when I got back to Gib my friends told me that the person was in Gib and not in the Ukraine..... BE WARNED everyone....
