I guess I need to make this explicitly clear: My goal is always to start a dialogue, to get people thinking and feeling and engaged. Im tired of people not reading (or not reading carefully except a headline) and then blabbing away. Frequently people try to argue with me when they havent even read whatever Ive posted or done any research in to the topic about which theyre arguing. Im tired of that, I dont have the interest or inclination to do novel-length rebuttals of peoples idiocy or give people a comprehensive education like I used to, and hell, even when I do they just get emotional and run away anyway, believing themselves to have taken some moral high ground even though *they* started arguing in the first place. Its this simple: If you argue with me in an antagonistic or stand-offish way, Im going to give it right back to you and Im not going to pull any punches. Theres dialogue and discourse, and then theres being an antagonist. If youre going to take the latter route, *especially* if its your m.o. (everyone has bad days, I get it), I will tear you apart. Fair warning.
