I guess students do not know how to react to ISIS actions. May be they have not yet processed the fact that there are more and more young people from the Us, may be even from Berkeley, joining their ranks to fight in the middle east, thinking it is a right cause. People in the middle east have been suffering for a long time from the actions of western colonialism and imperialism.So young people who want justice would like to join a fight to alleviate their suffering and avenge them. The big problem is that what Isis and all the other religious extremists who are fighting to dominate the area ( Africa and the whole world if they could) are offering is so backward, violent, anti.women gays and social progress that it is already destroying a whole generation if not by killing it, by backward education and other hateful actions. Isis is not the solution. And Israel is not the cause of the poverty and suffering of the middle east , Afghanistan, Nigeria, Congo........Of course it is easy to choose one culprit (Israel) and accuse it of all evils but it is wrong and it does not lead to the solution of the issue of poverty, anti-women and gay behavior and all the problems in the world that provoke violence, the rise of populist demagogues whether religious or otherwise fascistic government
