I had a crazy dream this morning in the wee hours. I woke to the sunrise like a crimson rose creeping slowly across the sky and stared at it for a moment before I was pulled into this amazing dreamscape. I was in Antarctica and I was making my way through an ice cave fortress. It was a maze that even King Koopa would be proud of filled with the deadliest of traps. I would be surprised by squids who were holding onto sharks that would attack me from frozen turrets in the walls. I would best them with my cunning, and I kept pushing forward until I finally reached the captive creature. It was a Rainbow Unicorn, that had been ensnared with ice and vines of barbed wire and an evil sorcerer was performing dark rituals to destroy the love of the unicorn. I came upon the sorcerer and he tried to trick me with their spells and potions, but I was faster and stronger and eventually I defeated him. When I freed the unicorn, I realized that it was an extension me, the love that I had been searching for, the love that I had finally set myself free to find and to have. When we raced out of the cave she swept me up onto her back and we glided along the ice as it melted beneath her magical feet and she carried me into the sky and I felt free like a fish who had been caught and then released back into the sea. When I awoke, I knew I was happy, and that I had a new adventure awaiting me right around the corner, a new tale, and endless possibilities.
