I had a great day! Productive and emotional. 1)My husband got back from his fishing trip, 2)Graces classmates make cards for Mathias at school today, 3)We sent 185 cards to Mathias to support a cause being done on his name, 4)I met (@UPS) someone that works with a family member of Mathias. We talk about him and I was happy to spread the word about TEAM MATHIAS in the UPS store :) 5)I got home and we got out TEAM MATHIAS gear in the mail! Including my car magnet! 6)Anne Greer contacted me. She is one of the board presidents of the sophomore class and her classmates will support Caring With Grace pediatric cancer initiative as their grade service project! I know Anne since she was born. On my late teens I started to babysit her older brothers. I stop working as their babysitter after I had my first child. At that time I started to work as a teacher, but I always kept in touch and visited them every now and then. Obviously, the kids got busy. I got busy too and we couldnt see each other too often, but it makes me happy that my Anne supports what my daughter is doing for pediatric cancer patients. (there is a picture of Anne posing with Grace when she was a baby!) Now, these 2 cuties are making me so proud! 6)After chatting with Roya Giordano, my tears of happiness cant really stop. She is always supportive and thankful for whatever little we do to raise awareness and spread the word about TEAM MATHIAS. I was glad to hear that the woman I met at the UPS store share our story with them. I still cant believe it! :) It was a great day. In most of my day Mathias was in it (in one way or another). I am a lucky person. I have many wonderful people around that make me want to be a better person. Thank you ALL! #MathiasStrong
