I had a great surprise yesterday! My daughter called me and said she was in OKC and wanted to have supper with my Mother and me. Then she spent the night. I take advantage of seeing her every chance I get. She lives 150 miles away, so this was a real treat. Then, this morning, I made Spice Cake Cookies from a recipe I got from the SBC Cookbook. They are absolutely fabulous! Got finished with that at 10 and had to get ready quickly for a dr appt at 11 in Norman. My sister and I had lunch at Burrito Grill in my hometown. Now, Im cooking chicken to make the Chicken Crescent Rolls, another SBC recipe, for tonights dinner at Ladies Night Out at church. Were also going to carve pumpkins. I wanted to do the tip about soaking the pumpkins in bleach water, but we will be painting them, so it probably wont work.... Next, its therapy and then home to make the Chicken Crescent Rolls. Ive had a busy day and its not over yet!! Friday looks just as busy. Who said retirement was sitting around doing nothing didnt know what they were talking about!!! Guess the only thing different is Im doing things that work got in the way of me accomplishing!!!! LOL! Have a great rest of your day!!!!!♥
