I had a great time in London and my meeting yesterday was really interesting. It was not held at Harrods but at his office in Westminster which was in the exact same place as the hotel Derrick and Oprah were staying in and I ended up parking in the exact same spot as on my previous 2 visits to see Derrick - how weird! I knew God was in the meeting because as soon as I walked into his office I noticed an Arsenal cup on his desk. That started the meeting off brilliantly as we talked about football for 10 mins. The reason I had the meeting was to talk about Derricks new brand (Derrick is a friend of mine and the make-up artist for Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Obama). He was very interested in it which was great. I managed to sound professional but I was honest in saying that the beauty industry is not my area. I told him about my businesses and it actually ended up being like a coaching session. He gave me soo much great advice about the beauty industry and business in general. It was a blessing and he is definitely the man to connect with if you want to launch a beauty product in the UK. A great contact to have so watch this space!
