I had a moment of just hatred yesterday. Spheal rant ahead... When I was getting the value for Mr. 40, 000 checked I got a few other eggs checked to for future giveaways and my personal stash. Saying that there is an upcoming shiny Buneary giveaway coming up. Anyways if you dont know how shiny values work, its fairly simple. Every Pokemon has a hidden shiny value. using various methods people can view these. Then you find someone with that Pokemons shiny value so it hatches shiny. Now there are groups that have 1,000s of people who hatch eggs shiny for others. Normally everyone is really nice but not today. How this one page worked was that they have a huge spreadsheet with everyones name and code and then you tag the hatchers name in the post. I did that and one of the hatchets replies back. The kid first asks me if he can clone the soon to be shiny. I say I would rather not rune my Pokemon being one of a kind. Im starting to be a bit weary of trusting him. Anyways I trade him the egg and Im waiting. I tell him that I can give him a perfect 5iv, 4 egg move bankball mon for his time. He than asks for a picture of the Croagunk I offered him. I quickly snap a picture and he agrees. We get back to the second trade and then I get Why couldnt you hatch the egg yourself? To my surprise he offers me a nonshiny. Now even if it hatched nonshiny he could have soft reset and saved the egg. But he did not. To simplify the rest the kid didnt know anything about shiny value. Made of a shiny value for the page and decided I was wrong for being a member of the group. I contacted one of the admins and the kid was banned and I got my Croagunk back. I honestly dont think I have ever been angrier, due to Pokemon, than seeing my non-shiny hatched my such an idiot. ~Spheal
