I had a productive day of doing a lot of chores at home. At first I was tired, but found energy later. I cleaned the inside front window of the car, and used silicone adhesive to try to fix the rubber seal around the hatchback that kept falling out. I planed no fewer than three sticky doors that were having trouble shutting. Made a lot of sawdust. The highlight was cleaning out a big pile of blankets/random odds and ends from a couch in our back storage room that had been disused for some time. I sat down on that couch for the first time in five years! There was a newspaper in a bag from 2008 that dated it, like archaeology. Now I have a pile of blankets to clean or give away. The room is now much cleaner and open, and with all clothing/textiles removed from the floor, now I felt safer about letting the cats in there. Had the door open most of the day, unusual for a room that was almost always closed off from the rest of the house. And then Eric discovered tonight that they peed on that couch! Such is life.
