I had a very long and fun day yesterday. I flew to Dublin, Ireland and arrived early this yesterday morning. I am a selector for our US WEG team, so I came to observe our riders here. CSIO Dublin is just an incredible horse show, with hunters, ponies, international jumpers, breeding and carriage horses. You name it, Dublins got it! It is so unique, with tremendous heritage. There are all ages of horses lovers here, from little girls and boys, to old horsemen and women that have come for their lifetime. I recommend every horse lover comes and sees Dublin! Team USA had a terrific day. Kent on Blue Angel Won the 2nd International class. It was a 1.60m Speed. He was way out in front of the rest. The 3rd International class was tough. A jump off class. The top 10 return for the jump off. Beezie and Cortez had two lovey rounds and finished 8th. Jessica Springsteen on a new mare were unbelievable! Fastest 1st round so they came back last. It looked like the leader Conner Swail was unstoppable. Jessica came in the jump off and went very, very fast! When she crossed the finish, shed won the class!!!! It was extremely exciting!!! This afternoon is the Nations Cup. We are 5th to go. Everyone looks ready!
