I had already posted this picture in the I.O.O.F Building folder, but considering that so many people were impressed with the number of people walking in downtown Richmond at the turn of the Century, I thought Id post this shot of people walking downtown at 8th and Main Street. I am going to guess it was taken in Summer of 1941 or between 1946 and 1949. (The lack of Uniforms is a good indicator it was not taken during the war years) Hooks - Val-U Dress Shop, Loehr-Klute and JC Penney Co. are visible shops.
