I had an interesting day so far! Attended the International Womens Day Breakfast with Councillor Krause and Hall. I had to do some errands after and took Queensway on the way home. As I was driving by the Hospice House I looked up and there was this Bald Eagle soaring high above the Hospice House and Fraser River. What was amazing about this was my dad died in the Hospice House last winter and so have many others since then. I found myself wondering if it was a spirit within the eagle soaring above Hospice that was letting all of know that those that came before and those that will come to hospice all will end up in a better place in the end. Be it mother nature, the Creator, God or whatever, there are spirits around us all the time and if we are fortunate like I think I was today to feel them. We will always be reminded of those spirits if our minds are open to it.
