I had cats for years, and have sorely missed having them around. I was fortunate to have some real, live, quality cat-time yesterday with a calico who lives in the apartment complex!!! She came to the door, let me pet her, and flopped down and rolled over so I could scratch her belly. I sat down cross-legged in the doorway and patted my knee; she immediately jumped into my lap! So, so, so happy.... :-) :-) :-)
