I had crazy allergy problems last night so I was up way too late. Thank God. Because Ive never seen this commercial in the light of day. Its like The Universe kept me up with itchy eyes and mega snots just so I could bask in the awesomeness that is Farmers Only dot com. But as lay there on the couch blowing my nose and watching this commercial I wondered a few things: (a) Why does Jill walk around the cornfield when shes lonely? Is she looking for a special corn cob buddy? Good thinking, Jill. Good thinking. (b) Why do the animals give a crap if Dave ever finds love? Is Dave doing something inappropriate with the animals and they want to find him a human girl so hell leave them alone? Dave, you disgust me. (c) Why are they only playing this ad late at night? Dont they know that farmers go to bed at like 7 PM? They arent up at 1:00 watching tv. BUT I AM. And I thank you. (d) Why didnt they have the animals sing the theme song? The animals talk so it seems like a logical thing that they also sing. I think theyd get a lot more people to sign up if the animals did a singing and dancing number. I know thats exactly the kinda thing that would turn Dave on. Missed opportunity. (e) I wonder if The Hub would let me sign up for this just so I could wax poetic about barley and soybeans (a passion of mine) and see if I can get the farming community to fall in love with me. A couple of years ago I discovered that some crazy ass woman was copying all of my FB statuses and using them as her own on a Biker dating site and she had all the Harley men after her, so I know that those dudes dig me and I dont wanna die without knowing if farmers dig me too. youtu.be/6RvyFFjP7RE
