I had my main personal profile blocked for what Facebook called a violation of their Community Standards. The image was anti-Muslim and stated something that was actually true. It explained that jokes dont kill people, but Muslims offended by jokes do. It has been all over Twitter. As I said, it is a true statement. In retaliation of both a news cartoonists depiction of Mohammed and some joke sights about Islam, Muslim extremists have gone out and killed innocent people. This is blatant censorship. I appealed their harsh three day ban on my account and Im waiting to see if they retract it. This has become a serious issue. There are class action lawsuits pending where even journalists have been banned from Facebook. The other issue is paid for promotion. This extends to even personal profiles. Facebook has filtered content so that only a fraction of your friends or followers get any of your statuses or content each time you post. With pages like this one, only ten percent of my fans may see my posts and they have a button for you to pay to promote it to more of your own fans. Please help out by sharing content if you can.
