I had the Scariest moment of my life today. I woke up to the sounds of dogs fighting. I put my robe and sandals on to go break my dogs up. What do I see when I open the door? A pack of coyotes fighting my dog Simba (a corgi/lab mix) and Roxie my 8 month old mini doxie!!! Instinctually all I think is grab the gun! So I do and fire a couple rounds at the coyotes. Who leave but Simba is so protective he chased after them! Simba returned about 30 minutes later covered in blood and limping. I thought for sure he was done for. Thank The Lord I knew how to shoot a gun and neither one of my puppies was seriously injured. The blood all over Simba wasnt even his he only has a couple scratches that will heal.
