I had the most inspiring afternoon yesterday, visiting NEXT Charter School. I have always been curious about what they are all about, so I asked to visit. What I found was a group of dedicated, compassionate educators and an amazing group of kids. Teachers and students alike took time out of their day to tell me how important the school is to them. It literally brought a tear to my eye wishing NEXT was there a few years before for some kids I know who would have flourished there. If you have an opinion about NEXT without really knowing about the program, I suggest you request a tour also. I am certain you will be enlightened. And quite possibly, feel like it is a privilege to have this program at your school.
