I had this hearing on this morning and listened to the testimony of Sergeant Tahmooressis mother as well as others. How sad, this young man,who did nothing wrong, committed no crime, made a innocent mistake, has been brutalized in a Mexican prison since March. What a betrayal that this decorated hero has been left behind by his Commander in Chief. This president, vice-president, attorney general, and secretary of defense, have defined themselves. They have shown who they are, political hacks, that represent only an exclusive segment of Americans, and not all Americans. It is the duty of this President and any President to intervene with any country that is holding an American citizen without cause. He talks about his phone and pen, yet wont use it to free this hero that is in need of medical treatment. Yet had no problem negotiating with terrorist and trading five combatants that killed Americans for a deserter. This President by not acting on behalf of Sergeant Tahmooressi is derelict of his duty. WHY????
