I had to laugh...Meryl Streep awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom...really? She reads other peoples words in movies...its to the point that something that meant something, doesnt mean much anymore...The nations highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom is awarded to individuals who have made especially meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors, says the White House...I can see Marlo Thomas...after all she is involved in taking care of sick children and has followed in her Dads footsteps...but Meryl Streep? Just another way for obama to keep Hollywood in the palm of his hand...
