I hate arrogance. I think its this terrible corruption of the mind that hurts love and compassion for others and in its stead only the self. I see it as this terrible disease, this evil, and Im so afraid of being arrogant. Im so afraid of people seeing me as arrogant — it haunts me almost all the time, and in my fear I feel that Im only making it worse, or creating a new problem entirely in this false humility and hindering of my own ideas in order to be well liked and not hated. I dont want to be hated as I hate arrogance.
