I hate to break up the cute and happy pups on rhis new years day... sorry. We have been having some rough days with our little 8 yr old baby girl. Just before Christmas she began treatment for Lymes. (Test came back neg) But she had signs of Lyme at diagnosis. As of today she doesnt want to eat much or at all besides the goodies we give her for her pills. She still has not given us a wiggle of any kind. She no longer whines in pain but her legs dont seem to be improving at all. We almost think they look worse than before. Her breathing shows discomfort or stress. (Video attached, dont mind the loud crash in the background... uh never fails) She has begun getting lumps along the side of her spine. As I know can be signs of Lyme. I guess my question is... Has anyone dealt with this disease? Can it seem to get worse before getting better? Thank you.
