I hate to hear of this story. I am posting this only to show how different paths can lead to different destinations. This is not an indictment on the addiction of Leaf, but a football post. I can still remember a cousin of mine arguing that Leaf would be a better qb than Peyton Manning in the NFL. He said that Leaf had the stronger arm, and should be first qb chosen based on that. I guess if he were the GM of the team with first pick he would have been fired pretty quickly. I had watched Peyton play four years at The University of Tennessee and knew that he was more than just a good football player.
