I have ADD and thoughts burst through my mind like lightening during a summers storm. Sometimes strange, random, morbid thoughts grab me and stop me in my tracks. I thought about my oldest son, Chance Lester, his BFFs, Zack Holt, Ethan Jones, and Garrett Bevins. It hit me about decisions they will make. The good and the bad. I thought about the summer between my freshman and sophomore year of high school. This was the first time I ever lost a friend, or someone close due to bad decisions. Since then I have lost many. Most before they were 25. I can no longer make your decisions for you. But you all know that I will go down kicking and screaming if Im aware of such matters. Im not afraid to embarrass any if you if thats what it takes. I will put out an amber alert if we cant find ya and will call the law myself if I hear that youre into meanness. Seriously. I will call your mommies, your daddies, and your grannies. I dont say or do this to be mean to you or be all up in your business. I do this because I love you, with all my heart...each of you. I want you to look at your top ten in your circle of friends. Now by the time you are 25 (which wont be very long now), at least one of them will be DEAD. All because of a bad decisions. Usually its not the one you would think. I know its hard for you to comprehend that, it was for me too. The thought that the first one will be one of you all actually paralyzes me. I LOVE YOU BOYS. Your lives are about to take you all in many different directions. Please, I beg you, make good decisions.
