I have SO much to be thankful for, but its difficult not to be thinking about a lot of my students who are in shelters, foster care or completely homeless. I also cant turn my mind away from how Seattle Public Schools is FAILING the children at my school by not providing the hard working teachers with the support and materials they need. I could go on for days about the laundry list of injustices but for now if you are at all in the giving spirit, PLEASE give to my classroom. I am unable to be the great teacher I know I am without these materials!
