I have a Dump soup simmering on the stove. A Dump soup is made with everything you have in the refrigerator, including leftovers. I browned some inexpensive thinly sliced beef steak along with an onion. I chopped up or used my Ninja chopper a conglomeration of vegetables. I filled my stock pot to within a few inches of the top, put the sliced beef pieces in with the onions and a pint of home canned tomatoes, brown rice, and some gravy from cooking the beef. I also added beef stock and the veggies. I used more that I ever had but thats because we are on a campaign to eat better. I added green pepper, kale, spinach, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, rutabaga, asparagus, celery, and garlic. I just tasted it and OMgoodness, it is so darn good! Roger called from work and asked what was for dinner. I told him vegetable beef. Hes in for a surprise when he sees all the goodies in this soup, AND we have enough for an army. It happens everytime I make soup though.
