I have a MK3 1800cc 8v golf 5 door 1992 k reg. What makes this quite a rare and unusual car is the fact it is a 1992 running on the Single point injection set up, which makes this one of the first to use this set up. The engine is very clean, runs spot on with no knocks or anything, and pulls very well. It has been sva tested and passed, it also has this marked on the V5, which also means this could have been a prototype as this is the 90ps model which is uprated from the original 75ps engine. (For VW enthusiasts the engine code is ABS) The other unusual thing is the colour, it is the purple that is normally seen on the convertibles and VR6 models. The car is very straight, except for a rusting tailgate, and some rust bubbling on the wing. It also has a hole in the drivers side sill. It has 121 thousand with history to back this up.. The car starts and drives fine, benefits from a total closure alarm system, power steering, electric windows, electric sunroof, electric mirrors central locking etc. It also has a VERY clean interior. This also has the big bumpers fitted. The car is based in South London area.. Also comes with MOT till December. Would make an ideal project car, which is why I purchased it, but I have too many other projects on the go, and not enough time. £350 or offers.
