I have a dear friend, Dena, who once told me that when life gets crazy, she just walks out the barn and hugs her horses. After several stressful hours of dealing with dementia related issues with a close family member, I took an early morning stroll through my gardens this morning. While checking on and visiting all of my new plant babies (who are about to start blooming their heads off) I realized that time spent in the garden is my equivalent to hugging a horse. Life just slows down, and problems cease to exist, while working in the garden! My stress melted away, my fatigue was completely lifted, and I now feel ready for a quick business meeting... and to float effortlessly through this day! Now for a quick business meeting, and then to a FABULOUS day of work with an A-DOR-A-BLE client!
