I have a disconnect in my logic and I need help to rectify the situation: - If I see a person getting beat up on the street, Im getting personally involved. There is no question about it. I have enough real life experiences to make me sure that I will act. I simply am not physicallly capable of just walking away. - But yet I believe in (and preach) a non-interventionalist policy when it comes to the matters of our nation. In other words: I support staying out of other nations business. Let them determine their own future and destiny. Since a nation is just a collection of people, is there a way I can continue to hold both of these policies in one person? They seem in direct conflict to me. So how to resolve?
