I have a few questions for parents who have children in Kansas public schools (I have three children in Kansas public schools, one in middle school and two in elementary school): Should it be easier, or harder, to fire a teacher who is not doing a good job (administrators decide which teachers are doing a good job and which are not)? Should you be allowed to choose what school your child attends (private, public, charter, religious) or should the State of Kansas be allowed to choose? Are you more concerned with the quality of education, or the union rights of the teachers? If you are not a parent of a Kansas public school student, you can still comment, but you need to say that you do not have children in Kansas public schools.
