I have a few vegetarian friends. I admire their conviction. I tried it for nearly a year in the mid-seventies, but fell off of the veggie wagon. Right now, Im thinking about how much I like ham, drumsticks, and ground beef, and realize, that if they would make prosthetic legs for chickens, hogs, and cattle, I could eat the things I like, and remain guilt free. I dont need their hearts, brains, livers, stomachs. They could probably get by minus a couple of ribs, too, and not have to die. When they just got old, and passed away naturally, I could get some new shoes, a leather vest, and a football for the grandkids. Some cool skulls for the walls, chicken beak jewelry and fresh stuffing for the pillows.
