I have a fourteen week old border collie. She was so good at sleeping in her crate at night, almost from day one she slept the night through. However, in the last ten days she started barking at 4.30 in the morning. At first I ignored her, but then I felt bad incase she needed a wee so started letting her out. Well now she thinks this is great and mummy comes at this time in the morning, but she doesnt need the toilet. Ive tried ignoring her again but my husband works such long hours he needs his sleep and shes waking him. Just to keep her quiet Ive put a pillow next to my bed and she goes straight back to sleep. Maybe I should just put her bed next to ours anyway? Do many of you sleep with your dogs in your bedroom?
