I have a lot of friends from all different backgrounds so wanted to see what you think. 3 weeks ago Richie Incognito was suspended indefinitely for using the N word towards a teammate everyone said were good friends. Even though Richie said it was only a joke and thats how they both talk to each other, he is still suspended and will lose his 4th game check this Sunday, 1/4th of his years salary. A few months ago, Eagles wide receiver uses same N word at a concert and gets suspended. He is also ordered to attend anger management classes before he can return to the team. Now NBA player Matt Barnes, who is African American, calls his teammates dumb N word that cost him money after he got ejected from a game for fighting. The repercussions for his actions: Matt Barnes was fined for not leaving the court in a timely matter. Am I missing something here? All 3 of them were wrong but only 2 got suspended. Shouldnt they all have been suspended or is it that the media blows up the 1st 2 incidents but you barely hear about Matt Barnes? Just curious.
