I have a more clearer understanding of why some women choose to stay with the father of their children, even though the relationship is a disaster. Because now days, trying to move on and pursue a new relationship can be like playing Russian roulette with yours and your childrens lives. Women, I know you get lonely and desire companionship, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be careful of the men you introduce into your kids life. These kids have it rough today. They are preyed on at school, the playground, and now inside their own homes. When a child cant find home as a place of comfort and protection, for fear that their step dad is waiting to have his way with them, what can they do? Where do they turn? Who can they run to? Sad thing is, most times, the mother knows but choose to ignore the reality. My heart goes out to those who knew and loved the child Alex Chery. May her story pierce the heart of women all around, to bring awareness to creepy dudes that disguise themselves as descent men, just to get inside a family and destroy it with their evil intents.
