I have a new appreciation for old Cuban ladies in Miami. While at Walmart, one insisted on strapping my diaper bag down to the shopping cart because she feared I would not have diapers if someone tried to take it. I could not find a place to breastfeed so I went to the bathroom... Old lady in there found a bench outside for me to sit down and nurse. She sat next to me and told people not to look at me because I was feeding my baby precious food. She ensured I was well covered and kept telling me to just take my time... A third one stopped me in an aisle and asked if she could pray for my little one because he looked like a little angel in my baby carrier! #precious
