I have a new project but this time its not the HOMELESS but preserving a piece of our heritage. Afrikans, ITS TIME TO RISE UP...we all talk a good game of UNITY ORGANIZATION and SUPPORT...well a time has now approached us to see if we really care about preserving our history and carrying our ROYAL LEGACY! Here in Columbus, GA The Chaflin Center located at 1532 5th Ave was the 1st African American school. Est. 1868. The center is up for grabs to be sold to the government and they will auction it off to developers who will more than likely tear down the history and rebuild over it. The deadline for our people to save this school is November 25, 2014. Bids are being taken now because the city dont believe we can save this building. PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS!!! I will be attending a Public Relations meeting tonight as well as a committee meeting Saturday. I will advise you all on this evades or as soon as I get more details on the matter.
