I have a niece that was born with a heart defect and has been in the hospital since birth but getting stronger everyday so that she can come home. Since we have been up there a lot my 10 year old daughter has seen how much the nurses love and care for her little cousin and what all they give her. Once they use a blanket on her or put a pair of socks and a hair bow on her those items become hers and cant be used on another baby. So as you can imagine they go through stuff pretty fast. My daughter decided she wanted to give back to the hospital this Christmas to say thank you for what all they do. She is taking up donations for blankets, hair bows, socks and stuff animals. The particular part that my niece is in is where she wants to make the donation too. They have boys and girls in there. The ages are newborn to 6-8 months old. Then most of the babies have to come back around age 3-4 to have their last heart surgery. If you would like to help her in the drive please let me know. I work here in town and your welcome to drop stuff off to me or I dont mind doing PPU. She is hoping to take it all to the hospital this Saturday.
