I have a question about the online check in. We have never done it before. Normally we take the magical express to the hotel and check in at the front counter. This year we checked in online and I was curious how much time this really saves. Our flight arrives at 9:15 am and we have tower of terror fast pass at 12:55 (Staying at AKL) I know it takes about 45 min to get from the airport to the hotel and we are checking our luggage with Disney so no waiting for that. We plan to hand off our carry-on bags with the front desk staff since our rooms will not be ready that early. But do we need to do much more than provide our ID to a greeter with an IPad at the hotel to check us in? The magic bands are already activated right? You dont need to turn them on or do anything unless you are changing your PIN or credit card on file correct? So I figure arrive at the hotel around 10-10:15, quick drop off of our stuff, and get back out the door around 10:40, take the bus to HS, arriving around 11-11:15 and still have an hour + to grab lunch prior to our first ride. Does that sound reasonable?
