I have a question for everyone who is searching for a new puppy. The USDA is planning on stopping breeders from shipping puppies sight-unseen...meaning that you (or your agent) have to see the puppy in person before purchasing it (at least making the final payment and taking possession), you cant just see a photo or video and then have the puppy shipped to you. 1. What are your thoughts on this and how will it affect your search for a puppy and which one you choose? 2. How far would you be willing to travel to pick up your puppy? 3. Would you be willing to pay extra to have the breeder deliver the puppy to you or meet halfway? It is important for me to know your thoughts on this matter as I try to make the decision whether or not to become licensed and let the USDA dictate to me how I have to manage my dogs. THANKS!
