I have a serious issue not only with Corporate Companies in Grand Bahama outsourcing bids to NON-BAHAMIAN companies. But also governments do the same as well it may not be to NON-BAHAMIAN companies. Grand Bahama business establishments employ Bahamians and as tough as things are financially in Grand Bahama we have Corporate companies who WE cannot compete with because they have the advantage of owning the factories, shops and businesses to give a better price on what they have to offer than we as business places can. Because we actually have to go to these companies and purchase products from them, so how do we compete. I call on the Prime Minister that he looks at purchasing government vehicles for Grand Bahama in Grand Bahama or any products that are needed for Grand Bahama be purchased at Grand Bahama establishments. WITH THAT SAID I WANT TO ENCOURAGE THE GOVERNMENT TO PUT LEGISLATION IN PLACE TO PROTECT BAHAMIAN BUSINESSSES!!!! IF WE ARE TRULY SERIOUS ABOUT REVIVING GRAND BAHAMA WE MUST START BY SUPPORTING ARE OWN.!!!!HAPPY 40TH BAHAMAS!!!!
