I have a serious relationship flaw: Im attracted to gruff, masculine men who are intensely rational, honest, and confident. Its a flaw because that tends to be extremely highly correlated with a lack of empathy and compassion. In other words, I like the character traits that all too often tend to create assholes. Theres a reason why I have an extensive dating history and yet only a very few partners who have lasted long-term as partners and maintain my admiration. I ought to work on that. Or maybe rational, honest, confident men could also learn some empathy and compassion. I bet theyd have fewer psycho exes in their past and fewer circles they get ostracized from.
