I have a vegan diet I said to a woman I used to be a vegan she replied I give my daughter meat, so she has the choice What about the animals choice? I ask Agitated and uncomfortable she avoids the question and says Well, Im sorry, if we were on a desert island and starving- I would eat an animal- I put my children first to which I replied in a jovial tone Well, if I was on an island, theyd probably be lots of fruit, so Id get that first. That way I wouldnt have to run after an animals for hours, go to great lengths to catch it and cook it- bearing in mind that Id be lacking a lot of energy due to being plonked here out of no where, and very hungry. I want to conserve my energy for building a shelter.... I put my children first. face palm moment.
